Ackermann Fahrzeugbau
Oschersleben GmbH

The majority of vehicles which leave Oschersleben are manufactured as ready-for-use constructions within the ranges of tarpaulin and curtainsider superstructures, rigid bodies and swap-body products. In addition to the low volume of standard-line vehicle production, tried and tested solutions are speedily and rationally adapted to meet the customer specifications by means of modern IT technology.

The product range extends from rigid bodies assembled onto truck chassis and trailers in tow-bar and/or central axle design to semi-trailers for the transport of refrigerated or frozen products. The manufacturing of rigid bodies occupies the greater proportion of our production capacity. The 3rd place we maintain in the fabrication sector for controlled-temperature trailers and the 5th position we maintain in the temperature-controlled articulated truck sector on the highly competitive German market is decisive proof of our capability.

Ackermann Fahrzeugbau GmbH

Ackermann in Wolfhagen produces modular systems of body kits. The range extends from plywood and aluminium bodies (e.g. for the transport of furniture or clothing) to the insulated bodies required for the refrigerated transport. These kits systems are supplied to our facility in Oschersleben, to ca. 50 contractual partners in Germany as well as to renowned manufacturers of trailers throughout Europe, where they are assembled to turnkey vehicles. The principal production item in Wolfhagen is a foam processing unit which is one of the most up-to-date in Europe. As opposed to the conventional bonding technique, the foam mixture is applied directly between the outermost layers, where it infills and directly bonds with the layers. The benefits comprise both a high degree of stability and the higher insulation value which is achieved at equal board thickness (K-value). Boards of a thickness ranging from 25 mm to 150 mm can be fabricated in accordance with the operational purpose.
